5 Point Calvinist and Anti-Muslim Polemicist Robert Morey has quit the faithdefenders ministry, and left both the Christian University he founded; and his own Church after mounting pressure.It seems that Robert Morey instead of spending time sharing the Gospel of Christ Jesus was getting himself rich of his own congregation. This is very sad that Christians continue to trust such men who claim to be protecting them from their enemies. As the old saying goes: "Who will police the police?"
To give people a typical example of something that Morey's people would be doing is the following:
"The Research and Education Foundation has done more groundbreaking research, written more materials, produced more tapes, and debated more Muslims than any other organization of its kind...
...and now they're asking for YOUR help in the FIGHT AGAINST RADICAL ISLAM!
Dr. Morey needs to raise $1,212,000 to mount a NATIONAL CRUSADE to educate the public about radical Islam and its JIHAD against the American people. The REF needs to supply education books and audio & video tapes to be used on university campuses and in the Federal and State prison system, to launch a massive challenge to the elements of radical Islam in America:...."
Robert Morey is also the same person who advised the U.S government to 'bomb Mecca and Madinah'. So much for Christian love!
So here good Christian people across America were paying good money to make sure that 'America was safe from radical Islam'. But than came the questions...
Where are all these videos of him debating Shabir Ally, Jamal Badawi, and Khalid Abdullah Tariq Al Mansour?
Where can we find the complete list?
Why have the so called honest Calvinist Christians hid the videos of him 'exposing the Qur'an and Islam for the lies that they are?'
How come Morey's own church was being neglected financially?
Where did Morey actually get his self proclaimed academic credentials on Islam?

Forgotten is the myth that Robert Morey put a second mortgage on his house to pay Faith Defenders Church, Inc. bills but that may be covered by you know nothing about what Morey has poured in [to stealing money from FCCOC].
Apparently Robert Morey is also under FBI investigation in the state of California...

It seems to me that 5 point Calvinist really have no concern for the Gospel of Christ Jesus at all. The reality is if you were to ask them what the Gospel of Christ Jesus is they couldn't answer you either as a Muslim or a Christian. They don't know what it is! Is it the message that Christ Jesus died on the cross for the elect only?
What about 'Go into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature' Matthew 28:19? What kind of cruel thing is this? Preach that God's love is selective? This is why according to the quote above, "The Research and Education Foundation has done more groundbreaking research, written more materials, produced more tapes, and debated more Muslims than any other organization of its kind..." a very good question if I were a Christian would be....
"And what was the fruit of all these publications, tapes and debates?" How many Muslims did you 'win' for Christ Jesus? Did you ever show Christ Jesus compassion and love for fellow human beings? Obviously not! Because as a Five Point Calvinist who are you to show love compassion and mercy to those whom God may not have chosen for eternity in heaven?
We Muslims should pray for the Christians of Robert Morey's former church. My sincere advise to them is this. If Robert Morey has been dishonest to you and to others about your finances and Anti-Christ like in his mannerisms and treatment towards you than you should also realize that it is highly likely that he was misleading you about Islam as well.
I invite all of the Christians who have ever been impressed with Robert Morey's books and pamphlets to take a look what Muslims have said in response to it. To pray to the God of Abraham to guide us all and to look into your own hearts!
I would also encourage all truth loving and truth seeking Christians to read Evangelist Dr. John Gilchrist article "Charity or Militancy: Our approach to Islam" and in this article he refutes completely Robert Morey's nonsense that Allah is the moon god. ReplyDeletei was always fascinated by morey because he was the one who made the absurd claim of Allah swt being the moon god (astagfirullah) and fundamentalist christians through inspiration of the holy spirit tried to use it against muslims with no success firstly because it is a false claim and secondly it has been refuted not just by muslims but by decent christians and jews.
I also want to comment on the end of the world article with my discussions with christians this one of thier major achilles heel, as i told many of them no other major religion has had more end of the world predictions than christianity and the reason for it is because of the new testament and its very apocalyptic message. you can see the effect this false prediction has had on the evangelical christian world both beggar all,aomin,and turretinfan have written extensively on it trying to steady everyones faith. the most eye catching blog was by turretinfan who used the 2nd letter of peter to try limit the damage campings predictions were causing,but the fact is this letter was probably the last letter written that is accepted as scripture most probably dated 90-110 ad and not written by peter. the author knew the contents of most of the gospels and its doomsday message as well as the letters of paul and pauls end of the world message so the excuse this author comes up with is that God wants everyone to come to repentance and everyone to be patient but he dosent use the apologetics christians use today by trying to change what the words "this generation" or that " i come quickly" really means i'll probably come over 2011 years later there are many more quotes from the new testament but these will suffice for now. you see if you really drill christians on thier concept of salvation as many have done including muslims thier arguments start to unravel and same can be said with about what the new testament authors said about the end of the world.
