Bismillah ir rahman ir raheem, (With the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful,
As salamu 'alikum wr wb (May the Peace, Mercy of Allah and Blessings be upon you.
Huge Blunders I Have Made On This Blog and Things I Need to Change.
#1) I do believe that I take time in reviewing debate material. However, the manner in which I post it is absolutely horrible. So for that I apologize to all and sundry. In this case while looking at what I wrote in commentary about Abdullah Kunde and Jame White they are both deserving of more than my horrible post.
My spelling is quite atrocious. So is my grammar, and syntax. (As pointed out by Ken Temple)
#2) I have made emendations to the entry 'Jesus is not the name of God'. I also argued (rather poorly) that the name Jesus is an etymological hybrid of Latin and Greek which means 'Earth Pig'. After reflection as well as taking a proper chiding from both Christians ( Marcus MCelhaney) and Muslim (those who have sent me private e-mails) I have removed that material. I will no longer advance such a claim.
#3) Some time earlier this year I made a comment on Dave Armstrong's blog that if James White ever embraced Islam he would immediately be buttressed by oil money. Now I was using a hyperbole. I believe at one point during his apologetic career James White was a sincere man. A man trying to advance the claim of Christianity. Yet it is not something I believe no longer to be true.
#4) I removed a blog entry in regards to James White's sister (Patricia Bonds) accusing James White's father of molesting her as a child. I have removed that post. That is a person matter between James White, his sister and their past.
#5) I removed a blog entry entitled 'An Uncommon Calling' Where I discussed the sexual orientation of David Wood (a Christian apologist who debates Muslims and Atheist). His sexual inclinations are his own business. They have nothing to do with him or his apologetic.
"Turn towards Allah, O believers, every one of you, so that you may be successful." [Holy Qur'an 24:31]
"Ask your Lord for forgiveness and then turn in repentance to Him," [ Holy Qur'an 11:3]
"O you who believe! Turn in sincere repentance to Allah." [Holy Qur'an 66:8]
"Ask forgiveness of your sin, and for believing men and women." [Holy Qur'an 47:19]
"And: That God may forgive you your former and subsequent sin." [Holy Qur'an 48:2]
‘Allah loves those who do repentance ‘Tawba' [Holy Qur'an 2:222]
So Allah-willing moving forward I am going to try and make a better effort on the presentation of blog entries.
I hope to make things more relevant to the issue of Islam and Christianity. I will also at times be posting information about Judaism-where it is concerned in the context of Islam & Christianity. Allah-willing.
